Piatnica (Regional Dairy Cooperative)
OSM Piątnica is a Polish dairy cooperative associating over 2 thousand farmers from Mazovia, Kurpie and Podlasie. The Cooperative started its agricultural activities over 40 years ago and right from its inception considered the highest level of quality as well as naturalness and product innovation to be its priority. It’s the company’s passion for nature as well as the ability to consistently deliver quality and innovations that has allowed it to become one of the most modern and rapidly developing dairies in Poland and indeed the world, gaining the trust of many customers. The best proof of this are numerous awards and prizes which includes the Superbrands title of 2018. Piątnica was ranked sixth among brands most recommended by consumers in Poland. At the same time, we came in first place in the dairy category, confirming our strong position in the dairy industry. The Cooperative offers a wide range of dairy products such as Cottage Cheese, which was launched to the Polish market by Piątnica, as well as fresh cream, mascarpone, curd cheese, cream cheese (Twój Smak, Twój Smak Puszysty and Milandia) as well as cultured dairy products – natural yoghurts, Greek style yoghurt with fruit as well as kefir and curdled milk. Recently, our offer of yoghurts has been extended to include Icelandic Skyr yoghurt – spoonable and drinkable – which are available in a variety of flavours. Piątnica is the first Polish dairy company introduce fresh Milk to the Polish market, packaged in an innovative bottle with a handle. We produce also fresh Organic Milk from certified organic farms the Green Kurpie region and lactose free milk – without the characteristic sweet aftertaste and full of vitamins and nutritional value. OSM Piątnica has recently decided to expand the offer with the Bio product line - Bio Cottage Cheese, Bio Milk, Bio Cream 18%, Bio Semi Fat Curd and Bio Natural Yoghurt. In 2018 the Dairy has also launched the UHT and flavoured milk production line. The Cooperative was also the first in Poland to implement a comprehensive program to improve the quality of the raw materials. Consequently, at the beginning of April 2016 all Piątnica milk suppliers started feeding their livestock with non-genetically modified (GMOs) animal feed. As a result of these activities the Cooperative started displaying a “NON-GMO. Milk from cows fed with non-GMO fed label on the packaging. This is a definite confirmation to our customers of using only non-GMO ingredients for the production paying great affection to the natural environment protection.
