Pohjolan Peruna

Pohjolan Peruna is the northernmost potato refinery in Finland. Factory is founded in 1962 and placed in Vihanti. Main material is potato, grown nearby by contract farmers.

New ROOTY - brand was launched in March 2021. The first products of the new brand are ROOTY Potato Rice and ROOTY Pan Noodle (both frozen products). Our other well-known brands are Mummon (for retail) and Mestari (for Horeca). Product range includes various frozen products, vacuum packed chilled potatoes and potato flakes and granules.

We manufacture from Finnish potatoes blanched, pre-fried, dehydrated potato products with or without seasoning. Packaging from 0,4 kg to 500 kg. The products are either chilled or frozen apart from the dry products. We are able to produce Kosher products.
