Prefera Foods is one of the largest players in the canned food market in Romania. Established in 2009 with own funds and SAPARD, the factory was built in Transylvania, Alba County. 

Prefera Foods is granted the prestigious International Food Standard (IFS) certification, a global safety and quality standard recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).

Currently, Prefera Foods' portfolio includes tradional brands such as "Capricii şi Delicii" (with vegetable and meat canned products) and the new "Unfished" for plant-based fish alternatives.
