In two Czech dairies, Hodonín and Pribina Přibyslav, TPK, spol. s r.o. currently produces a large selection of popular dairy products. In Hodonín, it concerns a processed cheese under the brand names “APETITO”, ”MARATONEC”, and “JAVOR”, while in Pribina, a soft cheese under the brand name “KRÁL SÝRŮ”, cream dessert “PRIBINÁČEK”, and a selection of pre-fried breaded products that are increasingly popular among customers of gastronomic market. Together with its affiliated company Povltavské mlékárny Sedlčany (the main brands: a soft cheese “Sedlčanský Hermelín”, a cheese with a blue mould “Vltavín” and “Modřenín”, and a fresh cheese “Lučina”), the company today belongs, by its production volume, to the largest producers of cheese in the Czech Republic. The company exports its products to a number of European countries, and with the support of its parent company, also to the third countries out of the European Union. It is a part of the French company Bongrain, globally oriented on the production of a technologically and hygienically demanding cheese – cheese specialities. In the Czech Republic, over 10 000 tons of cheese is produced every year. Czech consumers eat approximately 17 kg cheese a year. Of this volume, the Czech operations of the company Bongrain produce and sell one third.
