Ramirez is the oldest canned fish company in the world foundation 1853, exporting unique Portuguese sardines (Clupea Pilchardus), mackerel, tunas, tuna salads ready meals,  among other specialties, having started the international operations in the second half of the XIX Century exporting the famous "Tonno di Corsa" (Produced with Bluefin), to Italy and Brazil, caught in the south of Portugal in Algarve at the time of the “Armações” and “Copejo”.

Today, certified by ISO9001/2008, IFS, BRC, HALAL & FOS, we export to 45 different countries including, Canada (CFIA), South Africa (NRCS/ SABS), U.S.A. (FDA), U.E. (EFSIS) and Japan, which are among the strictest quality control departments in the world, where our goods passes continuously for decades.

Ramirez Company is owned 100% by the 4th and 5th generation from Ramirez Family.
