Riserva San Massimo

The Superfine Carnaroli rice of Riserva San Massimo grows in a fertile level land, near the Ticino river in the Lomellina area, province of Pavia. The production stages of the San Massimo Superfine Carnaroli rice of, from threshing to packaging, are still made by hand and carried out using traditional methods. For this reason the rise keeps its flavor, aroma and the features unique of it being grown in a natural and unspoiled environment, untouched by intensive agriculture. During each step of the production, the rice is checked and improved. For instance, the desiccation is carried out only under low temperature, to avoid damages to our grains, which are always compact and tasteful.
