The Aveyron region, situated in the South West of France, is famous for its Viaduct and its countryside but above all for its gastronomy, and its Roquefort cheese in particular. Roger Vidal, established in South Aveyron, in the village of Saint Jean du Bruel between Millau and Montpellier, remains faithful to these customs. Respecting ancient fabrication traditions and putting all its expertise into the preparation of its pâtés and terrines, this family-run enterprise has now been creating gourmet products for over forty years. The range of pâtés and terrines has expanded over the years in answer to ever-increasing, and ever more specific consumer demands.
The different ranges that exist today, all particular to this region, include the Traditionnelle, Terroir, Provence, Raffinée, Tendance and Sucrée salée ranges. Each of these recipes, each as delicious and original as the next, is an ideal accompaniment to meals and to festive buffets.
Butcher from father to son over many generations, Roger Vidal has created recipes which are the fruit of a special know-how coupled with the secrets of regional traditions. These techniques are enhanced by the use of modern, high-performance machinery. The production site, equipped according to community standards, has also been subject to an internal quality control system, regulated by the HACCP process since 1996. This control enables Roger Vidal to guarantee the quality of its products both in France and abroad. Today its exports account for 50% of its global turnover.
