Edoardo Roncadin opened his pizzeria “Vesuvio” in 1968 and it became a success, so in 1992 opened a pizza factory in Meduno, Italy, a small town at the foot of the Carnic Alps in the province of Pordenone. It was located near a spring of water, which was ideal for use in the manufacture of food products. Roncadin is dedicated to the creation of exclusive recipes expecially for private label sector, respecting the characteristics of traditional Italian pizza. A long rest period and the advanced technology of hot pressing, designed and patented by the company, produces a thin and light base with minimal amounts of yeast. The pizza topping is manual, with a selected ingredients. Roncadin pizzas are stone or also wood-oven baked.
