SCASA is the largest tuna cannery in Senegal and one of the major tuna canneries in Africa. The company resulted from Dongwon group’s acquisition of its former body SNCDS (known as the first tuna cannery in Africa). Our parent company Dongwon known as the world's largest tuna catching company and the largest tuna company in Korea has made tremendous investments to modernize SCASA facilities and meet the global standards.

Our products are tuna cans and pouches caught from the Atlantic Ocean. The fishes are mainly supplied by European and Senegalese tuna fishing fleets based in Dakar, Senegal, among which uses environment-friendly Pole & Line method.

We have already got the certification of IFS and BRC for can and pouch line. We have also completed FCE and acquisition of SID No. regarding FDA certification for pouch line and can line.

We export mainly to the US market through our sister company Starkist and  all the major European tuna markets.  Over the years, our product demand has been increasing continuously as we continue to venture into new markets striving to bring excellence and value to our customers. We are a reputable company in the EU market with our higher quality and have enough possibilities of customized packaging to meet each client’s needs.
