Shropshire Fine Herbs Bakery was founded by Hugh and Annie Laughton in 2006 as producers of fresh herbs for top restaurants and hotels. The company started on the kitchen table with a rolling pin and a second hand oven. In 2007 we won 4 of the 7 Great Taste Awards offered for cheese biscuits. Later in 2007 we converted 3 stables into a purpose built bakery and incorporated a new pastry brake and a flow wrap machine. In 2009 we started make prestigious private label brands and also exported biscuits to the USA, Portugal, Germany, Australia and the Far East. In 2010 we changed our Shropshire Fine Herbs Herb Oatmeal Biscuits brand to Jannocks. In July 2011 we moved our stables bakery to a purpose built site at Atcham Business Park. We also won the award for Shropshire's most sustainable new Business 2011. In 2012 we launched a new range of delicious bakery products, now available from our on-line shop - exquisite hand rolled Grissini , creamy Butter Shortbreads and the best and only Shrewsbury Biscuits to be made in Shrewsbury! We now make bespoke ranges of biscuits and granolas for Harrods, Fortnum & Mason, Daylesford Organic, La Fromagerie, Etihad Airways, Paxton & Whitfield, Pong Cheese, Just Crackers and many others.
