Spar Georgia

SPAR Georgia is the Georgian operation of the international SPAR brand, launched in 2014 when local retailer Foodmart was granted the SPAR licence by SPAR International and famously opened three supermarkets in a single day in Tbilisi. It is headquartered in Tbilisi and today forms part of Daily Group, Georgia's largest retail holding.

The chain has expanded rapidly to more than 380 stores nationwide, supported by around 2,700 colleagues, operating multiple SPAR formats — from neighbourhood SPAR stores and SPAR Express convenience outlets to larger supermarket formats — across Tbilisi and the wider regions of Georgia.

SPAR Georgia offers a full grocery assortment spanning fresh produce, in-store bakery, meat, dairy, chilled and frozen foods, ambient grocery, drinks, household and personal-care products, blending imported international ranges with local Georgian products to European food-quality and safety standards.

Alongside branded goods, the retailer carries the growing SPAR Own Brand private-label range and operates its own fresh-food production facility, allowing stores to tailor their in-store offering to local shoppers. Customers are served both in-store and online, with a webshop and home delivery available through partners such as Wolt and Glovo in Tbilisi.
