Stadshaven Brouwerij is one of the largest and fastest-growing independent craft beer breweries of the Netherlands with a brewing capacity of 20,000 HL. Anchored in Rotterdam’s historic Fruit Port, we brew bold, affordable Craft Beers with a subtle fruit twist and striking designs, available in cans and bottles. Responding to consumers seeking lighter, lower-calorie and more refreshing options, we now introduce MixCraft Beer Cocktails: an innovative crossover between beer and RTD cocktails, brewed through traditional malt fermentation and natural fruit infusions. Located in a historic fruit warehouse in Rotterdam’s old Fruit Port, we brew with respect for heritage, community, and the planet. Our eco-packaging policy is designed to reduce our environmental footprint across the full value chain. Our Goals * Reduce packaging-related CO₂ emissions year-on-year * Maximize recyclability and circular material flows * Minimize waste through smart design and responsible sourcing Materials & Packaging Choices * Cans: Lightweight, fully recyclable aluminium cans with a high recycled content, reducing transport emissions and waste. * Glass bottles: Only used where required by customers, sourced from suppliers with high recycled glass input. * Cartons & boxes: FSC-certified, made from recycled and biodegradable materials. * Labels & inks: Water-based inks and recyclable label materials to improve sorting and recycling efficiency. Processes & Resources * Closed-loop energy & water systems in the brewery: we recover heat from the brewing process and reduce overall water usage per hectolitre. * Spent grain upcycling: 100% of our spent brewing grain is repurposed as high-value livestock feed or food-related applications—zero waste. * Local sourcing where possible: shorter transport distances and lower emissions. * Lightweight design: we optimise packaging weight to reduce fuel consumption during transport without compromising product protection.
