Strauss group was founded in the year 1933 is now an international firm specialising in food and beverages that also cares for people's health. The group is situated in Israel and has its headquarters in Petah tikvatel aviv district. Strauss Coffee B.V., Strauss Israel, Strauss Water, PepsiCo, Strauss Fresh Dips and Spreads International are a part of Strauss group.

In reality, the firm operates mainly in segments like health and wellness, fun and indulgence, israel coffee, dips and spreads etc. It has partners across the globe engaging in food and beverage for instance Danone, Unilever, Lavazza, Haier, Virgin and Pepsico.

In addition, the firm sells brands like Elite, Sabra, Santa clara, Pimpinela, Kimimo, Cheetos, Energy,  but also has its private labels that are known under the name of ‘Strauss’ and comprises of products in frozen, chilled and drinks categories:

• Cheese (labane, ski, symphony)
• Chilled products (dany, daniella, raspberry jelly)
• Pasta (classic cheese ravioli, sweet potato ravioli)
• Pre- packaged fresh vegetables (salad mixes, lettuce, single vegetables, baby greens etc)
• Water (bubble plus, TS(sparkling), T6 touch, T5, watermaker v6)

The groups' products are sold under the sales and distribution systems and are distributed to private supermarkets, shops, hotels, restaurants among others. Also, the latter operates in countries like Israel, Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Kazakhstan and many more specialising in coffee and coffee related products.

Furthermore, the company has 20 production sites which are found across the country and their products are distributed daily to 13,000 retail points of sale. On the other hands, the group operates in the Elite Coffee chain, which currently has 70 locations.

Additionally, Strauss had 12% of share in the food and beverage market in the year 2018

Eventually, the firm employs a number of 14 000 employees globally and is present in over  20 countries. The turnover of the group was EUR 2,08 billion in the financial year 2017.
