Stuart

Founded in 2015 by Clement Benoit and Benjamin Chemla, Stuart is a French delivery company owned by GeoPost, which is a subsidiary of La Poste. The firm specialises in the transportation of goods from businesses to their preferred location within 1 hour. Stuart operates a mobile app as well. 

Furthermore, Stuart has operations in 80 cities throughout 4 countries including Spain, Poland, France and the UK.

Stuart offers direct 3 types of direct deliveries:

• From store to end-customer
• From warehouse to customer
• Next day delivery for customer’s convenience

Machine learning was installed by Stuart to forecast client demand in order to be able to offer immediate delivery.

Stuart raised €23.5 million during its fundraising events before the acquisition by GeoPost.

Over 8000 businesses from different sectors such as food distribution, e-commerce and luxury & retail work with Stuart. Some examples are Zapa, Monoprix, Decathlon, Cdiscount, Pure, Swatch, BCG, etc.

At present, a total of 500 people were reported to be employed by Stuart and the company achieved a turnover of €1 million.

Stuart owns warehouses in various cities and is testing its new mobile warehouse, a van storing several packages, in Paris as an attempt to speed-up the process. Moreover, its delivery fleet consists of vans and bikes.

Orders are delivered mostly by bikers which help the firm reduce its carbon footprint and be eco-friendly.
