Surmont is an Italian family run business, located in the North East part of Italy. Surmont has a long history in cultivating and preserving mushrooms (since 1954) and in the last 20 years, it has concentrated its efforts in developing and producing authentic Italian IQF Frozen ready meals, with particular attention to innovation and product development. The plant is certified (ISO 9001:2000, ISO 22000:2005, IFS, BRC, HACCP)  and built in order to reach the highest levels of hygiene, safety, innovation and practicality. A third expansion of the production department has been completed in September 2019, with a new production technology put in place: a state of the art trays and bowls packing machine. Products are always new and tailor made in order to satisfy each specific request of our clients, putting at their service a great expertise and know-how.  The products delivered to out Private Label clients are original and exclusive with various packing solutions available according to the necessities of each product and client. Products can also be supplied with our own brand “Cucina Sartor”, which is a warranty of high quality standard and gourmet touch. Italian traditional cuisine is at the core in each recipe realized. Cooked with passion and energy in an all-natural process without additional additives and flavoring, just as they were home-made. Our range of product is wide: first dishes, complete cooked soups and sides, low carb veggies solutions and food pyramid solutions. The ingredients used are the highest level quality, thank to a great selection of vegetables and mushrooms as well as for the ingredients used in the ready meals. Moreover, with the technical expertise, rigorous quality control at each stage, stringent grower specifications and full traceability, Surmont guarantees superior quality standards across all range of products. Thanks to the innovative IQF Frozen technique used, the processed products maintain their natural aromas, traditional flavors and it ensures the freshness of all seasonal produce. Ready Meals are not condensed in pellets: they are frozen directly from the liquid state in little spheres and irregular flakes. The result is a homogeneous product which can be easily portioned and that allows fast reheating, without adding water and with no separation between solid and liquid state, respecting a gastronomic preparation.
