Launched by Thakurdas Choithram Pagarani in 1974, T.Choithram & Sons is a supermarket chain in the GCC region. Its headquarters is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The company has a distribution network as well which is trusted by millions. 

The business has 2 divisions:

• Retail: The firm operates 76 supermarkets having 1 million sq.ft. of retail space in the UAE, Bahrain and Qatar. T.Choithram & Sons welcomes 100,000 shoppers per day and conducts more than 5,000 deliveries per month. Moreover, the company offers specialty imports and local produce in its portfolio. An e-commerce platform is at the disposal of its customers. 
• Distribution: It supplies its products to over 30,000 outlets across all channels and more than 8,000,000 customers are served on a daily basis. 
• Production: Being a brand of choice, T.Choithram & Sons produces over 500 quality products by maintaining the health and food safety standards. 

In the financial year 2021, T.Choithram & Sons achieved a turnover of €180 million and its employee count ranges from 1,000 to 5,000 people. 

Furthermore, several products are available under different categories such as: 

• Drinks: juices, water, fizzy drinks, etc. 
• Savoury grocery: rice, spices, oils, etc. 
• Sweet grocery: teas, biscuits, chocolates, etc. 
• Chilled & fresh: meat, desserts, prepared meals, etc. 
• Frozen: meat, seafood, vegetables, etc. 
• Personal care: hair removal creams, deodorants, shampoos, etc. 
• Household: air fresheners, toilet rolls, detergents, etc. 

Brands such as Rainbow, Coca Cola, Natco, Alpro, Mentos, Hearty, Family, Hunt’s, Argentina, Kalfany, Ceres, Beehive and many others are endorsed by the firm. 

T.Choithram & Sons developed its own brands known as:

• Goodness Foods: Products such as rice, pulses, spices, etc, are available under this brand. 
• Leone: This brand is dedicated to a variety of tea flavours. 

With regards to its logistics solutions, the business operates several distribution centres occupying 1.5 million sq.ft. of warehouse space with 75,000 pallets across the GCC region. For deliveries, more than 350 vans are available.
