- Established Pokolbin Hunter Valley 1966 – 3rd privately-owned “boutique“ vineyard/winery/cellar door operation established in Australia post WWII.
- Purchased by current private company owners in 1985. Now a vertically-integrated vineyard, winery, packaging and sales operation based in both the Hunter Valley and the Orange regions of NSW.
- Total winery production capacity approximately 12,000 tonnes – 800,000 9LE cases.
- Total owned/leased/contracted vineyards for Vintage 2022 – approximately 800 hectares (620 hectares certified organic V2022).
- Currently largest producer of Australian certified organic, vegan and “no added sulphur” wine products.
- Seasonal fruit supply also in place with Wrattonbully, Limestone Coast, Adelaide Hills and Riverland, South Australia, and Hilltops, NSW.
- Current annual domestic production approximately 220,000 9LE cases
- Current exported wine production approximately 15,000 9LE cases; China exports previously 60% of exported product, now suspended.
