Terra Creta was established in 2001 in Greece, with a clear focus on producing superior quality and healthy products such us extra virgin olive oil. It now features a vertical organization of operation and modern privately-owned facilities, located in Kolymvari, in western Crete, Greece. In 2021 it got acquired by Melissa Kikizas SA, the leading pasta producer in Greece. The range of extra virgin olive oils is complemented by a limited line of hand-chosen pasteurized table olives in 315ml jars. Terra Creta's value proposition is to offer natural Greek products of mid to upper level quality at a mid-level pricing with a strong commitment to consistency of quality and a healthy and enjoyable consumer experience.
Since 2001, Terra Creta has won more than 200 awards in international taste and quality contests with a Mario Solinas 1st prize in 2021 and many Best of Greece and Best of Class distinctions for its extra virgin olive oil. Today, Terra Creta is present in more than 45 countries and the brand is appreciated by a very loyal fanbase all around the world. The company is planning to support its growth with a 360 marketing plan, focused on social media, cooking blogs and online content to grow its digital footprint.
Being one of the leading EVOO exporters of Greece, Terra Creta is also leading regarding sustainabilitity in Greek olive oil, with its first sustainability report rolling out in 2021.
