The Family Butchers Germany GmbH

In 1931 Reinert was founded by brothers Hermann and Ewald Reinert in Versmold, Westphalia. Thats where the H. & E. Reinert Group has its origin. Today high quality salami, cooked and cured specialities are produced in Versmold. Furthermore the headquarters of the central administration as well as the central distribution are based there.

From 1998 to 2002, Reinert took over three regional raw ham production facilities. Since 1998, Schinken Einhaus GmbH & Co. KG in Friesoythe (Lower Saxony) has been part of the Group, and in the following year Reinert purchased Original Holsteiner Katenschinken GmbH & Co. KG in Brunsbek (Schleswig-Holstein). 

In 2019 Reinert merged with the family-owned meat processing company Kemper based in Nortrup in Lower Saxony. Together we continue united in the newly created The Family Butchers Germany GmbH (TFB) to serve meat based and protein based food and snacks worldwide. 

Our commitment is to reduce waste continuously and rigorously in the production process and in the product packaging. Our teams study plastic reduction and increase recyclable materials. Our investments in high-tech machinery in all our production sites helps to leverage our goals.
