ΑΗΒ Group S.A was founded in 1996 and made an entry in the dynamic market of bottled water in 2013, through the construction of the most modern Greek bottling facility of THEONI Natural Mineral Water in Vatsounia, Mouzaki,  in the Prefecture of Karditsa, Thessaly. 

The vision of the company’s founder Vassilios Tselios was an innovative facility using state-of-the-art technology in water bottling that operates in harmony with nature.

New investments have expanded the production capacity of the company to meet the increasing demand.

THEONI Natural Mineral Water is present in several major Greek supermarket chains and its exports reflect a steady uptrend in the international market (USA, Europe, Asia, UAE, Saudi Arabia).

THEONI is the only Greek mineral water that is forced up out by natural pressure, from a natural spring (Goura Spring), at 1100m. altitude on the Agrafa Mountain Range.

In this unspoiled, far off landscape, the water is bottled directly from the source, filtered only by Mother Nature, without any admixture or chemical process, preserving therefore tis distinguishing characteristics

The geological formations of the area constitute a natural filtering mechanism, 2000 years of age, that creates a unique water composition of premium quality and superior taste!

Best Bottled Water 2016

THEONI was awarded the Gold Medal in the 26th Annual Competition Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting, as the Best Bottled Water 2016 among 700 entries from all over the world. THEONI also won the Berkeley Springs Package Design Award at the same year.

ITQi Superior Taste Awards

THEONI has won the three Golden Star Award for 5 consecutive years (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018) in the widely acclaimed competition iTQi, that rewards food and drinking products of high quality worldwide. Due to its superior and distinctive taste Theoni Natural Mineral Water also received the “Special Crystal Taste Award” in 2016.

Monde Selection

Since 1961 Monde Selection collaborates with over 70 eminent experts such as Michelin stared chefs, world renowned oenologists, university professors, brewing engineers, nutritionists, dieticians that taste and test products from all over the world in a completely independent way. In this unique competition THEONI receives the Gold Quality Award every year since 2015, along with the International High-Quality Trophy in 2017

DLG Organization (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft)

The DLG Quality Contest is held annually in Frankfurt and awards products of high quality and taste through very stringent criteria. THEONI is awarded the “DLG Gold Award”, based on the results of the most advanced laboratories of the DLG Organization, for 3 consecutive years (2016, 2017, 2018).
