Established in 2009 in Ireland, Truly Irish is a company owned by 85 farming shareholders. The company was formed by a group of pig producers who aim at producing premium quality products to Ireland.
The firm sells its products under the brand Truly Irish. Furthermore, Truly Irish is a member of Origin Green, an organisation which ensures that its members respect the environment.
The company initially started its operations by offering chilled meat products such as sausages and black pudding. Within its first year of operation the firm has become the 3rd largest meat brand in Ireland and achieved an annual turnover of €12 million.
In 2015, Truly Irish diversified its activities by launching its Irish Granola and creamery butter and by 2016, it introduced its gluten-free protein porridge to the market.
The firm also won the EMEA Award for the Best Digitally Printed Flexible Packaging.
Truly Irish sells its products to food services, manufacturers, retailers and online shops in different countries in Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East and North America. Its clients include Spar, Tesco and Dunnes Stores. It is also looking to enter new markets in Thailand and Vietnam.
