TS Markt

Ts Markt is a retailer which has been established in the year 2017 and is headquartered in Berlin, Germany. The main purpose of the company is to offer good products at a low price to its customers.

The retailer provides an assortment of 1500 to 2000 SKUs in both the food and non-food segment. Around 90% to 95% of the assortment are private label products. It is noteworthy that the average prices of the products are 5% to 20% lower than the local competitors.

The stores look more like a warehouse as the products have been displayed on pallets and racks.

In order to increase competition, Lidl and Aldi decided to lower their prices too as they have analyzed the price reduction of their competitor Ts Markt.

As of October 2018, the company decided to open 100 German branches not under the name Ts Markt but under the banner “Centwelt”.

In 2018, the retailer wishes to look for heavy duty shelves, wire mesh boxes, rough tables and fruits & vegetables stands.

In fact, the objective of the company is to promote expansion by opening more than 100 stores with sales area of 800 to 1200 square meters across Germany.
