Van Meines has been a household name in the national fish trade for years. Philip van Meines senior started frying fish for fishmongers in Amsterdam and surroundings, producing fish snacks, and supplying fresh and fried fish to bulk consumers in Amsterdam some forty five years ago in the Food Center. In the meantime van Meines senior’s epicentre of frying in the Amsterdam Food Center has developed into an authority on fish gastronomy. Van Meines is still a traditional company providing tailor-made solutions; fresh every day!
