Vero Amore
Vero Amore distristributes sustainably sourced superfoods, primarily organic açaí berry and cacao.
Vero Amore engages in regenerative agriculture through agroforestry management projects in the state of Chiapas in Mexico, and Putumayo in Colombia.
Here, we aspire to break the historically rooted cycle of poverty, violence, and deforestation by creating an exchange between rural and urban communities; as nutrient-rich food products created in the heart of the Lacandona jungle and the Amazon reach urban communities, a consistent cash-flow enters rural areas located at the edge of the forest, de facto turning farmers into its guardians. Açaí and cacao cash crops not only create revenue but feed and regenerate the natural ecosystems on which the future livelihood of farmers depend, creating soil, protecting pollinizers, and promoting biodiversity, thus creating a truly sustainable and circular business cycle generating value across the whole chain.
We have been operating for five years in the mexican market, reaching all corners of the republic and its 100+ million people through the a network of distributors and clients in the retail and food service industry including Costco, HEB, and the La Comer group. In this time we established a reputation for distributing high quality, tasty, and easy to consume food products made with wild and exotic ingredients. with the added value of reforestation and fair trade.
Being based in Latin America, we have access to a great biodiversity wealth resulting in very marketable food products at a competitive price all year round and we are eager to open up new avenues of distribution in foreign markets, especially in North America and Europe.
