JSC Vetrija is established in Alytus City, south Lithuania, in 1996. The company is engaged in processing and freezing of wild berries, garden berries, vegetables, exotic fruits and mushrooms. It provides product cleaning, packing and storage services. The products cleaned by the company are sold to the wholesale companies and shopping centres. Between 2004-2008 company was recognized as one of the fastest developing business. In 2009 project "Gazelė" the company was recognized the most successful and fastest growing company in the region. In 2010 company participated in Germany and Baltic states chamber of commerce competition "Germany's awards in Lithuania 2010" theme "Success during crisis". Thanks to its quality merchandise and flexibility, Vetrija is distributing more than 5000 tons of production, and has mastered quick freezing process and upgraded its equipment in order to put the newest technologies to the service of quality and consistency. Since 2007 company was sertified ISO 22000:2005 standard and from 2014 BRC standard. Company's products are appreciated in Western European countries as they are ecologically clean and present high quality. Is also certificated as ecological natural product collector and has a status of organic products producer. Almost all our berries are handpicked and directly come from plantation and forests located less than 300 km around our company. This ensures quality and freshness of our products. The goal of Vetrija's team is to produce goods that meet requirements and expectations of our customers.
