Natural Crunch and VitaSnack, was created with the aim of facilitating the consumption of fruits and vegetables for a healthier and more balanced diet, aware that the main instrument we have to take care of our health is FOOD, which will have to be healthier, more sustainable and convenient.

Today we have developed the widest range of flavors that can be found on the market to give consumers the maximum options.

What differentiates us can be summarized in 2 words:

 

SIMPLICITY:

• We are Clean Label, reducing the number of ingredients to a minimum, just fruits, vegetables and natural flavors, eliminating all kinds of additives, preservatives, flavor enhancers and incomprehensible “E” numbers.

BEYOND ECOLOGICAL:

• From the selection of fresh raw material that comes exclusively from certified organic farming
• Respecting the seasonality of fruit and vegetables
• Boosting local production wherever possible
• Promoting the sustainability of the production process through the use of 100% renewable energy and solar self-production
• Looking for continuous improvements in the sustainability of the packaging, always preserving the quality of the product
• Seeking positive impact on a social level, promoting gender equality and commitment to our community.

We have +10 years of experience in this field and with a strong in-house R&D know how about the technologies and processes and we control all steps from the selection of the fresh raw materials to the final packaging to mantain the quality and food safety standars.

We offer different types of packaging; for instance, depending on the client’s shelf-life needs, in order to preserve the quality and properties of the product, we will require thicker or thinner humidity, light and oxygen barriers. For years, we have been striving to find ways to reduce the impact of the materials used in this packaging, seeking solutions that are more and more respectful towards the environment. The difficulties faced by this challenge are as follows: - Achieving an optimum balance between the product’s shelf life (currently 30 months from manufacture and 18 from packaging) and the natural degradation of the material protecting it. - Difficulties in logistics in terms of handling biocompostable materials. - The impact the costs of these biocompostable materials exerts over the final price of the packaging. Thus far, we have managed to: - Reduce the thickness of the non-biocompostable layers, replacing them with paper (currently the main material used in the packaging). - Offer biodegradable packaging options to clients who are open to reducing the product’s shelf life. - Starting a collaborative investigation project to replace all plastic material (including the ziplocks) for 100% cellulose-derived biocompostable materials.
