VON HERZEN BIOBAUERN

The ‘VON HERZEN Biobauern GmbH’ in its today’s form was founded in 2008. The collaboration of Austrian’s organic farmers makes it possible to sell about 13.000 tons of organic apples and organic pears each year. This merchandise market offers an interface between producers, pack houses and food trade. Around a fifth of Austria’s farmers keep to the strict directives of organic cultivation. Especially the climate, the fruitful soils and the convinced organic farmers with their special knowledge makes this establishment so successful.
