Wingert Foods is the German leading producer for ambient tray meals and bowls. The latest innovation is "to-go" salads that need no refrigeration.

Wingert Foods GmbH was founded in July 2002. In July 2003 the company took over the ready-meal business and production site from Norda-Lysell GmbH & Co. KG that was originally constructed by Unilever beginning of the 1990s.  In the past few years more than 100.000.000 ambient ready meals (tray meals and bowls) have been produced and sold.

Today, the company’s focus is on four main business units: co-packing (co-manufacturing) for branded goods companies, supplying private labels of the trade, selling and marketing the Wingert Foods brand and being the exclusive license partner of Unilever’s ambient ready meals business of the brand “Du darfst“ (www.du-darfst.de).

Wingert Foods’ products can be found in almost every retail outlet in Germany.

The Wingert Foods Export GmbH (founded in 2013) is responsible for all the international sales & marketing activities.
