ZAREA Company has its roots in 1912 when Wilhelm Mott, experienced in sparkling wine crafting, arrives from Germany and establishes in Bucharest his own small Sparkling Wine House named Mott & Fils.  In 1948 Mott & Fils’ manufacturing capacities merged with Dr. Bazilescu and Rhein Sparkling Wine Houses and were nationalized under the name of  ZAREA.
