Our company is settled on the southern coast of Lake Balaton and produces premium quality Pálinka since 2005. Our brand gained a lot of recognitions in the last 17 years among Pálinka-loving consumers and professional Pálinka reviewers. We gained several outstanding results in national and international competitions during this period. We won the Hungarian National Pálinka Championship three times (2006, 2007, 2010) and became the best Hungarian Distillery in the Destillata International Spirit Championship two times (2007, 2010).
Due to the high quality standards, our Pálinka is among the high-end products, that is why our prices are high. This is the reason that most of our selling go to the restaurant and hotels.
During the Covid-period, all of the restaurants and hotels were closed, so we started developing new products that we may sell to the Retail sector, in order to diversify our assortment.
We started to invent our own Mediterranean Gin in 2022, that represents a high quality, just like our Pálinka. Soon after, we created one of the first Ready-to-Drink gin&tonic under the brand name: Carly’s Gin&Tonic.
In Hungary, gin&tonic lovers can only buy some high-priced imported RTD’s – mainly Bombay and Beefeater – in some webshops, that is why we created our Carly’s gin&tonic brand with reasonable price, that still contains our premium quality gin and is sellable to the Retail sector.
The Carly’s gin&tonic brand aims mainly Generation Z between 18-30 years old, who may not afford to buy premium gin and tonic with all the other stuff that goes with mixing a gin&tonic at home. In addition, Generation Z always wants everything to be ready and available, most of them don’t want to waste time with the preparation of their gin&tonic. Besides, our RTD gin&tonic gives you the opportunity to drink gin&tonic anytime, anywhere.
The choice of our brand name also represents our intention to target the Generation Z: CARLY’s stands for – Can’t Afford Real Life Yet. It's used to describe a group of consumers within Generation Z that is under the age of 25-30; loves memes, TikTok, and nostalgia.
We are planning to create new flavors. Beside our already existing LAZY LEMON, we are almost ready with our MANGO-PASSIONFRUIT, which will debut in early spring. We currently sell our products in Hungary, but our intention is to let this brand be a Europe-wide know brand.
