ZMH Horvat is one of the leading companies in the frozen food sector in Croatia and the region. The company is specialized in production, processing, storage and distribution of frozen foods. Modern, high-tech equipped facilities produce a wide range of frozen products, including frozen fish, molluscs, crustaceans, shellfish, but also frozen vegetables and pastry products.

By investing in new modern packaging methods, we are able to respond to all our customers’ requirements, end-customer demands and modern lifestyle needs. 

If we want to highlight one product range from our wide portfolio: squid processing is our strongest production segment by which we are recognized as a quality leader. In retailer segment we are well known with Adriatic fish and shrimps portfolio but also our “ready to cook” program.

Quality and attractiveness of ZMH Horvat products, Frozy brand or PL, are recognized all around Europe with signed contracts with many retailers (HOFER, LIDL, SPAR, KAUFLAND, METRO, EUROSPIN, KONZUM …), HoReCa and wholesalers.

One of strongest PL we do is Ocean sea and Nostja (LIDL) present in many EU countries.

Confirmation of the quality we provide to our customers is the fact that some of the biggest retail chains in Croatia have entrusted us with their central warehousing and logistics of frozen foods. This is also the service we offer to other clients.

To achieve high quality of our offer and service we are certified by HACCP, IFS and BIO. Also as a part MSC/ASC Chain of custody we offer wide range of ASC and MSC certified products. 

With our own LKW fleet and contracted transport companies we deliver frozen goods to any warehouse needed, right on time and with full traceability.
