Zooplus Germany is an online retailer of pet food and pet care and was founded in 1999 in Germany. The company offers over 8000 products which include pet supplies for dogs, cats, birds as well as aquatic animals. Zooplus has online shops in 25 countries including Portugal,  Denmark, Poland and Sweden. 

Zooplus Germany achieved a turnover of €1.35 billion in 2018 and employs 635 persons. The firm is also listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2008. 

Zooplus Germany offers products for pets such as dry food, wet food, snacks, and toys for cats and dogs, supplies for animals like rabbits and other rodents, birds, horses and aquatic animals.

The company offers a wide selection of products from brands like Royal Canin, Wolf of Wilderness, Applaws, Felix, Cosma Snacks and many more.

Zooplus has also developed another e-commerce platform, Bitiba which offers animal food and supplies. 

Furthermore, the company launched Zoobee, an online supermarket that offers food, drinks and home & personal care items for people but also pet products. The product ranges contain canned food, pasta, confectionery, drinks, baby care, oral care, hair care and cleaning supplies. Zoobee offers vegan and organic products as well.
