Borlotti beans
PREPARATION
Leave the Borlotti beans soaking for approx. 12 hours. Drain them and cook them over a low heat for 60 minutes in unsalted water.
PLUS
The Borlotti beans have a high content of proteins, a low content of fats and they can replace meat. They are very rich in fibres (inulin and pectin) and they contain calcium, phosphorous, iron, and zinc as well as vitamins B1, B2 and B3.
