Cardamom
Cardamom is obtained from the fruit of the Elettaria Cardamomum plant, with a citrus flavour and hints of eucalyptus. Widely used in cooking for both sweet and savoury dishes, for the preparation of oriental dishes, rice dishes, desserts, etc. Typical in the preparation of qawha, a type of strong, bitter coffee, a symbol of Arab hospitality. Its properties include its stimulating effects that keep us active. Due to its powerful aroma and flavour, use it in small quantities, adjusting it at each step of the recipe.
