chilean mussels
Chilean mussels are caught and reared in the cold, nutrient-rich waters of Chile and grow on ropes. Around 74% of Chilean mussels are exported to Europe. Mussels are so-called "filter feeders" - which means that they filter out plankton and other small organisms floating in the water - and they live in tidal waters.
