The Coho Salmon has a very short harvest period, from late September to late December.
main USP’s of the COHO salmon: • Colour: on the scale of Roche the coho has a color between 28-30, for comparison the salmo salar has 23-24 • Live harvest: our supplier has a waiting cage in the sea, right in front of the processing plant. This means that the fish is pumped directly from the sea in the factory and it is transformed and frozen the same day. Who gives a lot of advantages to the freshness and texture of fish. (treatment pre-rigor) • Complete cycle of traceability: our supplier has its own hatchery. So through the lot number information is traceable from egg to the day of production / processing and freezing. • ASC-certified In addition, extra USP’s: -Low in fat (healthy alternative) -High in Omega 3 -Convenient, easy to prepare
