Dried plums

Dried plums used in confectionery most often come from the USA and are a more precious kind of LaPetite d'Agen plum which is grown in the south western France. The State of California is the biggest producer of dried plums in the Word. Dry plums are rich in carbohydrates, proteins, calcium, magnesium, potassium, they do not contain cholesterol.
