Duernas SPECIAL BAKERY

We have just launched a product that we consider to be very appropriate for the consumer’s current situation: a special olive extra virgin olive oil with natural lemon flavour for home baking and desserts.

We have already been one year in the development of the product but right now, and because of the COVID, we think it is the best moment to share it with the families. People cook more at home and bake bread and all kinds of pies and cakes… the baking powder and flour’ shelves of the supermarkets were empty for a long period recently. People are also becoming more conscious regarding the importance of what we eat at home to be healthy.

We have not done this alone. We were happy to have the prestigious Baking shop Hermanos Roldán that has helped us with the project. This will also allow them to offer their cakes made with the healthiest fat to all those families who have trust them for over 25 years.

The oil that we have chosen is a mild picual, very high in antioxidants and other nutritional values. Baking with this olive oil, rather tan with butter or other fats, gives cakes and cookies a light-soft texture, helps to keep baked good fresher for a longer period.
