Golden Olia is an extra virgin olive oil of organic agriculture made 100% from the finest Koroneiki olives collected in the Protected Designation of Origin; North Mylopotamos in the blessed island of Crete. It’s acidity is no more than 0,5%. It is an olive oil of superior quality, cold extracted, solely by mechanical means. Our partners are selected mainly on the basis of their devotion to the principles of organic farming and the quality characteristics of their oil. All cooperating producers are controlled by accredited certification organizations, such as DIO and BIOHellas. Organic Food Suppliers chose to use dark green modern glass bottles in order to follow our obsession for perfection! Chlorophyll which is plenty in the day light acts as an oxidant on the olive oil and after a while olive oil oxidizes.
