Grain

Approximately 300 million tonnes of grain are traded worldwide every year, corresponding to nearly 15 per cent of total world production. Wheat accounts for roughly 140 million tonnes and feed grain for the remainder. While the large exporting countries (US, Canada, Australia, Argentina, EU, Russia, Kazakhstan, Brazil and Thailand) provide close to 70 per cent of world supply, more than 100 countries have a demand for grain.
