grey dutch shrimps
Dutch / gray shrimps have a sand-brown protective color that - depending on the environment - can change. They live in shallow waters, which can also be somewhat broke, and feed at night. During the day they remain buried in the sand to escape predators. The shrimps are always cooked on board the ship, in seawater. Most Dutch / gray shrimps are hand-peeled in Morocco.
