Nature’s Touch is also a branded player, having secured the North American license to produce Welch’s frozen fruit in 2010 and operating its own brands, Nature’s Touch, Nature’s Touch Organics and Nature's Touch Pesticide-Free. Nature’s Touch has a portfolio of over 350 different SKU’s of frozen fruit, blends, smoothies, and vegetables, both in the conventional and organics spheres. 7 out of 10 bags of frozen fruit consumed in Canada are packaged by Nature’s Touch.
Nature’s Touch is also in rapid growth mode in the USA since signing with a major national broker (Advantage) in 2014. We have a manufacturing facility in Front Royal, VA, which we are continually expanding, as well as 7 distribution hubs and 3 regional sales offices. Our private label customers include Aldi, Target, Safeway, Food Lion (part of Delhaize), BJ's Wholesale Club and Weis. Our branded customers include Costco, Hannaford (part of Delhaize), Shoprite, Meijer, Market Basket, Shaw's, Jewel-Osco, Price Chopper and Big Y.
We have opened in 2014 a sales office in Hong Kong covering the Asia Pacific region and currently serve customers in Australia, Taiwan and Japan, making Nature's Touch a truly global player.
Nature’s Touch maintains close, long standing direct relationships with the farms where we source our products (not via broker). Every plantation from which we purchase has been visited by our founder and owner and is audited regularly by our own quality assurance team. We source from all over the world (in fact, in 21 countries), but mainly in North and South America, depending on the season. We secure a steady, reliable supply of high spec commodities at the best price at any time of the year and therefore maintain a stellar delivery record. Our sole, razor-sharp focus is on selling Grade A frozen fruits and vegetables to retail grocery end consumers – we do not operate in any other channels or in any other categories.
We have the ability to customize blends and fruit specifications per our customers’ request and have a product development team which is always at the forefront of nutritional trends, health news and agricultural and manufacturing innovation. We also have a marketing department always ready to provide category insight and promotional activity.
