Kunefe
Kunefe (kyun-eh-FAY) is a traditional Middle Eastern dessert (sometimes spelled kanafeh or kunafa) popular throughout the Mediterranean region. From the outside it looks like a simple cake of crispy, shredded phyllo. Inside, though, lies the cheesy treasure – layers of mozzarella and mizithra cheeses and their creamy, sweet, & salty flavors. A drizzle of simple syrup adds sweetness, and crunchy pistachios deliver the finishing touch. It’s not like any dessert you’ve had before… what are you waiting for?
BAKING INSTRUCTIONS: Bake the pie in its own tray in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25-30 minutes for fan heating. When baked flip it over in its tray and pour the syrup and crushed pistachios provided in the box
