Mussel powder

Vilsund’s mussel powder is a natural blue mussel extract from mussels sustainable caught in Denmark. The spray dried powder gives a natural seafood flavor from evaporated cooking juice of blue mussels.

The powder is from pure, evaporated mussel stock and therefore also contains natural minerals, vitamins and salts. The unique flavor gives a great “depth” for all seafood and shellfish dishes such as bisque, soups or even sauces and cold dressings.

By dissolving the powder in a bit of oil or water, the powder can also be used with e.g. salads or pasta; simply dissolve the powder in oil, toss the pasta in the oil and add fresh arugula and chopped roasted almonds!
