Our Spelt pasta is made with the best Tritticum Dicoccum grown in Italy. This grain is a robust and hardy varieties suitable for arid and windy but not for intensive cultivation ensuring rhythms and made only natural. The Tritticum Dicoccum is an ancient cereal already grown back to Etruscan finds its natural habitat in the hills of central and northern Italy.
Spelt is a cereal fewer calories in absolute (335cal/100 gr). Spelled pasta has a high fiber content which control appetite and this is increasingly recommended in slimming diets. Spelled pasta also has a very low content of cholesterol and contains important calcium to prevent osteoporosis. Spelled pasta has a particularly refined taste and is a good alternative for those who can not tolerate gluten durum wheat.
