Despite its short cooking time, nothing much can go wrong when cooking this specially refined parboiled rice. Due to the parboiling procedure, vitamins and minerals are preserved to a large extent. During the process, the rice grain becomes smooth and hardened and obtains its typically golden yellow colour. When cooked, this rice becomes light and grainy.
