Worldwide peas production amounts to about 10 mln t annually, with about one third of this quantity being produced in Canada. Other major producers are Australia, India and the EU. Worldwide trading volume reaches roughly 3 mln t and the main exporter is again Canada with a share of nearly two thirds.

For many years Toepfer has been trading peas, exporting them from Canada but also from other regions to destinations like Europe and Asia. We offer both food and feed peas.

Through our Western Grain & Processing Division in Canada we are able to offer a wide range of lentils, peas, and chick peas.
