AGRANA's key focus lies on supplying ingredients made from premium quality ingredients using environmentally sensitive methods. The AGRANA production sites at Aschach an der Donau and Gmuend (both in Lower Austria) were among the first processing plants in Europe to be certified as organic processors under EC Regulation 834/2007 as amended (an ordinance governing organic farming methods and the labeling of agricultural produce and food). This certification was awarded in recognition of AGRANA’s competence in the area of organic products.
