The Gin Box - Cassia Individual Container

Cassia, or Chinese Cinnamon, grows in Eastern China and belongs to the same family as the cinnamon tree. Chinese Cinnamon is a different kind of cinnamon from the tradition cinnamon we are mostly used to in Europe, which is the Indian Cinnamon. Its bark is rougher and more pungent. Both the aroma and the flavour give the harmonization of the drinks a sweet, very aromatic taste. “The Gin Box” Cassia is aimed at harmonizing the drink known as Gin Tonic. To this end it should be put in the glass used to prepare the drink. It is not meant to be ingested.
