Fine multi-layer crispy filo pastry filled with a velvety cream custard which melts in your mouth. With every bite you can enjoy all the aromas of vanilla, milk and cinnamon that take you back to Byzantine times. An ideal alternative for breakfast or to accompany your tea or coffee.
BAKING INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 185ºC (365ºF). Remove bougatsa from freezer. Take cover off and place the product together with its cardboard dish on a low position in the oven. Bake for 40 minutes.Serving suggestion: After allowing the product to cool for 10 minutes, use a knife to cut where marked. Sprinkle icing sugar and cinnamon over the top for an extra special taste.Note: Adjust baking time and temperature as needed, depending on your oven. The temperature and baking time are suggestions and depend on the type of oven and the quantity of the products you bake in it. Do not microwave the product.
